Ingredients for Vietnamese Shrimp and Peanut Salad
Ingredients Accompany your Vietnamese salad with a tahini sauce.
The success of your Vietnamese salad depends on this sauce (no pressure 😉).
It’s creamy and smooth thanks to tahini; the lemon adds a bit of zest, and maple syrup gives it a hint of sweetness. You can also opt for date syrup.
Sesame oil elevates everything with an interesting slightly toasted note.
Preparing the Vietnamese salad Recipe

The salad is ready in just 15 minutes 🙂. Simply wash and grate the vegetables, chop the onion, and mix it all together. Make sure to cook your shrimp well. Season them as desired.
If you’re preparing the salad in advance, I recommend mixing everything only at the time of serving and adding the sauce at the last minute. This way, the salad will “hold up” better!
Alternative: Vietnamese Chicken Salad Recipe
You can also make this recipe with chicken instead of shrimp. To do this, simply cook 150g of chicken thigh. Slice your chicken finely and add it to your Vietnamese chicken salad!
